The Bride's Story

Jacqueline Richard was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. With the love and support from her family, she realized that she needed to find herself, and try to make it on her own. So shortly before her 19th birthday she moved out to Calgary, Alberta to go to school at SAIT. However, that only lasted a year and a half before she realized that although she loved Calgary, computer engineering technology wasn't her calling. She applied to Nav Canada to become an air traffic controller, and shortly after found herself flying off to Cornwall, Ontario to start her training at NCTI.

After NCTI was finished, she was sent to Winnipeg to start her on the job training at the tower. After almost a year of training she was licensed as an Air Traffic Controller. She loves her job and doesn't mind the city. She intends to work in Winnipeg until either she retires, or is offered a controlling position on a warm island.
