The Groom's Story
Chris was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario. Shortly before his 19th birthday he moved to Waterloo to go to school. However, that only lasted a year before he realized that computer science wasn't his path in life. He then decided to follow his passion for flying and enrolled in Seneca College, graduating 3 years later with his diploma in Aviation and Flight Technology. This led to a job as a Flight Instructor back in Waterloo. However, after about 4 years Chris grew impatient with the aviation industry and realized that there were more important things in his life he wished to pursue. He applied to Nav Canada to become an air traffic controller, and shortly after found himself driving off to Cornwall, Ontario to start his training at NCTI. After completing the program he was sent to Winnipeg to train in the ACC in the East Low sector. Unfortunately things didn't work out, and now he's still working at the center, but as a TSS. The jobs are very different, but he's so much happier now.
